These days you hear a lot about prosperity - true believers will receive abundant wealth and health if they only live right.... If you want something, just think it in to existence.... But is this Biblical? Is this how Jesus lived or how His disciples experienced life? Were they living their best life here on the earth or was there a greater prosperity for which they hoped to obtain? This sermon briefly examines where the "name it and claim it" and "prosperity gospel" originated from and defines what the true prosperity gospel is.
It can be so easy to ask "why me" in the difficult situations that we may face in life. Is God punishing us? Does He hear our prayers? Is He even there? Listen to the sermon as we discuss these issues and hopefully bring in some light on this controversial subject.
In observation of All Saints Day, we remember all the saints that went on before us; all those who helped us along on our spiritual journey. We are reminded that if we are in Christ, we will one day be reunited with our loved ones who have passed on, and reunited with Christ Jesus!
