Consider the fact that though you may not get recognition by others for all the good you do, all those things are noticed by God, and you will reap from all the seeds of goodness which you have sown. The Harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. This is a call to go out there are sow some seeds!
A recent study concluded that the number of believers in the US Church is decreasing, while the number of atheists and agnostics are on a sharp increase. Older generations are passing away, and there are fewer who are sitting in their place. There is no greater time than now that the laity of the Church rise up and take responsibility for that Great Commission of Jesus Christ, to go and make disciples! How will you answer that command; that call?
The Lord was constantly reminding His people in the Old Testament through the keeping of the feasts and the retelling of stories that He is faithful. When we become discouraged we must reflect back on the times in our life when He came through when we saw no possible outcome. Friends, He is faithful!
