It's hot outside. We are all thirsty, but water will only temporarily suffice. Our souls thirst for something more. Are we looking to satisfy that thirst with "worldly cola", which looks and tastes great and gives us a temporary sugar-coated caffeinated boost of energy but leaves us unsatisfied, or are we coming to partake of The Living Water, that which quenches the thirst of our very soul?
Solomon had everything. Money, wives, concubines, houses, land, you name it, he had everything he could ever want, but in all his wisdom, he realized that all of it is meaningless. While the world searches for meaning and happiness, where can it be found? What is the purpose of this meaningless, miserable life?
