We've all had our deliverances. We ought to proclaim the Name of Jesus, and tell our redemption story, but certain things get in the way, which will be discussed in this message. We were made to worship Him. We were made to glorify Him. We were made to proclaim His Name!
The blessed Trinity represents God in three Persons, whole and complete. Christ wants to brings us in to wholeness with Him. But how is that possible? This sermon will focus primarily on the workings of the Holy Spirit, Who brings us in to greater peace, joy, and completeness in Christ Jesus.
Pentecost empowered the people of God to live out their life as a blessed and favored people, but also as a royal priesthood. Too many times, we are living in maintenance mode, just doing the bare minimum to get by, when instead, Jesus commanded that we go and make disciples. Are you just "trying" to maintain your faith, or are you truly living it out?
Gratitude is an attitude we are not born with. It takes practice! But when we consider the bountiful spiritual blessings, we can become overwhelmed with a grateful heart. When we grow in gratefulness, we become more aware that those around us contribute to our blessings, and we, in turn, should bless them. That is a practice which can also take practice, But in doing so, your joy will be increased, and so will the joy of others as well.
