We are all "theologians", interpreting the Bible for ourselves. But what if we stopped saying "this part of the Bible doesn't work for me" and instead allowed it to work on us. What if we started changing our life to meet the demands of Jesus instead of demanding Jesus meet our demands? What if prayer was more about listening than requesting? What if "service" was more than just attending a church service but also serving those around you? What if we really believed the Gospel of Jesus and lived it out in our community rather than rewriting it to publish our own gospel, the gospel according to 'me'?
We are all building. We are building a career, a family, a life....but what about in our faith journey? Is this "building" or even "our building", our "temple", a welcoming place for the Holy Spirit?
