Many people are holding on to hurts and shame. Mary mourned so deeply for Jesus that she didn't recognize He was right there with her, and she was so disillusioned with that hurt that she forgot that He had to die to fulfill God's purpose.. Instead of holding on to hurts, we should strive to hold on to Christ, and not just Christ crucified, but Christ resurrected! We have HOPE!!! We have a PROMISE!
As Jesus came in to Jerusalem, riding on a donkey, He represented the opposite of what believers expected the Messiah to be. They had certain expectations and became disenchanted with what they came to find, for Christ showed the true way to The Kingdom, and He calls us to imitate Him as well.
The Lord is making a way, His way - His will to be done on the earth as His will is done in heaven. Do you perceive it? Examine your life today and recognize God's unseen hand in your life and give Him praise!
