Do people see Christ in you? Are you sowing seeds of hatred or love? Your very public witness could cause a person to leave the faith. Are you willing to sacrifice to prevent that?
Could it be that within us lies a hidden prejudice against other people? Could it be this prejudice also includes misjudging ourselves as well? Join us as we talk about another aspect which holds us back from experiencing the fullness and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
The greatest battle formation that we can have is down on our knees. The greatest weapon we have been equipped with is prayer. Let us rise up and fight the good fight! This sermon will continue our lesson on empowerment of the Holy Spirit and address our frequent resistance to allow Him to do a brand new thing in our life. We will also talk about allowing Him to prepare us for service to Christ. Rise up, Christian soldier! The battle is already won! All we have to do is remain faithful to God's call. All we have to do is go where He instructs us to go, to do what He instructs us to do, and walk in His love and grace, showing that same love and grace to all we encounter. Rise up to the call and take formation. Let us be a people of prayer!
